Guideless turns a task you do once in your browser into a narrated video and a step-by-step guide. My verdict: it is worth it for any team that explains the same software task every week. In my test, the first click to the finished video took 5 minutes. Then I moved a button, fixed one step, and every shared copy updated on its own.
I ran that test for my LinkedIn post of October 6, 2026, a paid partnership with Guideless, which also gave me a free Pro workspace. This page is the long version, and its sign-up links are my referral links. To try it, start with 3 free guides without a card. Code Af6Taf3 cuts Pro in half for your first month.
- You do the task once with the Chrome extension on, and every click becomes a numbered step with a screenshot.
- AI writes the instructions and a natural voice reads them, in 43-plus languages.
- You share a link or an embed. Pro adds MP4 exports up to 4K.
- When a screen changes, you fix one step and every link and embed shows the new version.
- Free covers 3 guides. Pro costs $39 per creator a month billed yearly, or $49 monthly, for up to 10 users.

What Is Guideless?
Guideless is an AI platform for software training videos and step-by-step guides. You record a workflow in Chrome. It writes the instructions, adds a voiceover, captions and zoom, and publishes a guide anyone can open without an account. Its own FAQ lists the main uses: employee training, customer onboarding, SOPs, product walkthroughs and help center content.

Guideless is a Lithuanian startup founded by Evaldas Bieliūnas and Dovydas Remeika. In August 2026 it raised €1 million in pre-seed funding led by Superhero Capital, with FIRSTPICK VC, Tech.eu reported. The angel investors include Thomas Plantenga, group CEO of Vinted, and Vinted co-founder Mantas Mikuckas.
On September 30, 2026, Guideless wrote in its referral program announcement that more than 3,000 users in 15 markets create and share guides with it.
What Does a Guideless Guide Look Like?
This is a real one. The public guide below, from the Guideless gallery, shows how to set up an AI-powered outbound sequence in Apollo, a task outbound teams repeat every campaign. Press play to hear the AI narration. It is the kind of output you get from one recording.
The same guide works as a link in Slack, a page in your help center or a step in a new hire checklist. Because this one is an embed, any edit made to it in Guideless shows up on this page too.
How Does Guideless Work in 5 Minutes?
I picked one task and did it once while the Guideless recorder watched my clicks. Here is what happened, in order.
- Every click became a numbered step with a screenshot.
- AI wrote the instruction for each step.
- A natural voice read the instructions out loud. Guideless offers 43-plus languages.
- I blurred the client data in the screenshots.
- I got a link to the step-by-step guide, an embed and a 4K video.

First click to finished video: 5 minutes. Zero words from me. The screenshot above, from Guideless, shows where you land when the recording stops: the editor. Each step has its own script, which becomes the captions and the voiceover. You can rewrite it, regenerate the narration, reorder or delete steps, zoom on a button and blur private data before you publish.
What Happens When Your Software Changes?
You fix the step that changed, and every link and embed you shared shows the new version. That is the part that sold me. Most recorded tutorials die at the next update. A button moves, a menu gets renamed, and the video keeps showing a screen that no longer exists.
Guideless makes the same point in its post on why process documentation keeps failing: screenshot-based guides break as soon as the interface changes, and old SOPs rarely get updated because nobody owns them.
So I ran the real test. I moved a button and fixed one step. Every shared copy updated on its own. The Guideless docs explain why: links and embeds stay live, so an edit reaches everyone who opens them. An exported MP4 is a static file, so after a change you export it again.

In hours, the gap is large. Take a hypothetical team with 40 guides and 4 software updates a year, where every update touches every guide. That makes 160 fixes a year. Assume 30 minutes to re-record a classic screen video and 5 minutes per fix, the time my whole first guide took. Re-recording costs 80 hours a year. Fixing steps costs about 13.
How Much Does Guideless Cost?
Guideless has three plans. Free costs $0 and covers up to 3 guides for 1 user. Pro costs $39 per creator a month billed yearly, or $49 month to month, for up to 10 users. Enterprise is priced on request and has no user cap. I read every price on the Guideless pricing page on October 6, 2026.
| Plan | Price | Users | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 with no card needed | 1 | Up to 3 guides, link and embed sharing, unlimited views, AI narration and AI voiceover |
| Pro | $39 per creator a month billed yearly, $49 monthly | Up to 10 | Unlimited guides, insights, unlimited MP4 exports up to 4K without watermark, unlimited AI narration and voiceover |
| Enterprise | Custom quote | Unlimited | Everything in Pro, plus SSO, custom data residency, multiple workspaces, custom domains, dedicated support and training |
Two pricing rules matter for a team. You pay per workspace member, and the people who only watch your guides need no seat and no account. And Pro puts no cap on views, AI narration, voiceovers or MP4 exports, so nobody on the team counts credits.
| Workspace members | Per month, billed yearly | Per month, billed monthly | Per year, billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $39 | $49 | $468 |
| 3 | $117 | $147 | $1,404 |
| 5 | $195 | $245 | $2,340 |
| 10 | $390 | $490 | $4,680 |
The page says yearly billing saves 20%, and the list prices match: $39 against $49. Switch to yearly once your team uses the guides every week. You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. After that, the workspace moves to Free and its limits apply.

Who Should Use Guideless?
Any team that explains the same software task more than once a month. For the founders and sales leaders who read this blog, three uses pay off fastest: sales tools, new hire onboarding and customer onboarding.
Sales and RevOps teams can show reps how to log a call or move a deal stage in the CRM. Guideless recommends short video guides against CRM errors, under three minutes each and placed where reps make mistakes.
Guides teach the steps reps still do by hand. For the work around each call that software can take over, see my guide on how to automate sales operations.
New hires can learn each internal tool from one recording. The Guideless page on employee training shows guides shared in Slack, Notion, Confluence and learning platforms.
Customers can follow guides embedded in your help center, in their own language, without creating an account. That is where the 43-plus languages matter most.
Which Teams Use Guideless Today?
Tech.eu names teams at Vinted, Masan Consumer Holdings and the Nevada Hospital Association among Guideless users. The best documented case is a software company that is rebuilding its training with it.
OpenLegacy, which helps enterprises modernize legacy systems, is rebuilding its customer training library with Guideless. Its first deliverable went live during the evaluation: seven short videos, each 30 to 60 seconds long. It exports MP4s for its learning platform and shares Guideless links inside the company, so nobody re-sends files. Ruslan Abramov, its support and operations team lead: “It's always updated on the fly.”
That library now serves customers, systems integrators such as Deloitte and Accenture, and OpenLegacy's own R&D team, which records sprint demos with Guideless.
Is Guideless Worth It?
Yes, if your team explains the same software tasks every week or your tools change often. My guide took 5 minutes to make and one fix to update. The Free plan lets you prove it on your own process before you pay anything.
It fits web software. Guideless records workflows in the browser through a Chrome extension, so native desktop and mobile apps stay out of reach. Teams above 10 users, or companies that need SSO, custom domains or several workspaces, should ask for the Enterprise plan.
Run my test before you decide. Record the task you explain most often and share it with two people. At your software's next update, fix the step that changed and time it. If the fix takes minutes and every shared link stays right, Guideless will save your team hours every quarter.
If you are choosing what to automate after that, my 8 AI sales workflows come with a way to score candidates on your own work.

Frequently asked questions
Is Guideless free?
Yes. The Free plan costs $0, needs no credit card and has no time limit. It includes up to 3 guides for 1 user, link and embed sharing, unlimited views, AI narration and AI voiceover. You pay only when you upgrade to Pro for unlimited guides, insights and watermark-free MP4 exports up to 4K.
How much does Guideless Pro cost?
Guideless Pro costs $39 per creator a month billed yearly, or $49 billed monthly, as listed on October 6, 2026. Billing is per workspace member, up to 10 users. Views are unlimited and viewers need no account. Code Af6Taf3, which Guideless issued for my readers, cuts Pro in half for the first month.
What languages does Guideless support?
Guideless lists 43-plus languages for AI narration and voiceovers, with a pronunciation dictionary and speed and volume controls. You record a workflow once, then translate the guide and regenerate the voiceover from the same editor. One recording can then serve teams and customers in several countries.
Can you update a Guideless guide without recording it again?
Yes. In the editor you fix only the step that changed and regenerate its script and voiceover. Shared links and embeds stay live, so everyone sees the new version. In my test I moved a button, fixed one step, and every shared copy updated. Exported MP4 files need a new export.
Do viewers need a Guideless account?
No. Anyone with access to a published guide can watch it without creating an account. That matters for the bill. On Pro you pay for each workspace member, while new hires, customers and anyone else who only follows the guides cost nothing.
