Win a place in the sales stack for a brand-new product
Perplexity was bringing Computer to business users: an agent that takes a request and delivers the finished work end to end. For sales teams, Computer had no position yet. Research agents already had an owner in the category, and buyers had no reason to switch.
The goal was to give Computer a clear role in the B2B sales process, prove it on real work, and put it in front of the people who choose the sales stack.
Position it, prove it, distribute it

A category position, not a feature list
Growth Cab started from a market thesis: go-to-market research was owned by Clay's Claygent, and Computer could take that job by running the whole outbound process in one place, from finding the right companies to writing the first message.
That thesis became the launch narrative: one AI workspace in place of a fragmented stack of sales tools.

Proof built on the product
Within 24 hours of kickoff, Growth Cab rebuilt its own prospecting process inside Computer. Growth Cab OS turns a one-line description of the ideal customer into target companies, the right decision-makers, researched accounts and personalized outreach.
It gave the launch something no feature sheet can: a working system buyers could see and copy.

Five use cases, one buying reason each
Growth Cab mapped Computer to five moments where sales teams lose time: prospect research, meeting prep, customer demos, outreach messages and competitive intelligence.
For each one it wrote the reason a sales team would adopt it, the copy that went on the dedicated product page where buyers could run each workflow in one click.

Distribution across the US and Europe
Growth Cab took the launch to its network of founders and revenue leaders, with New York and San Francisco as the top markets, and Perplexity scaled it with paid amplification in two waves.
After launch, Growth Cab kept Computer in the buying conversation:
- a “Perplexity vs Claude” buyer’s guide in five languages;
- recurring plays in the Growth Cab newsletter;
- the Computer story brought to AI Week Milan, VivaTech Paris and GTM communities such as SalesTech Collective;
- an Editor’s Pick slot in the GTM Tools directory.

Key takeaway
A new AI product doesn’t win a market by describing features. It wins when it has a clear job in the buyer’s process and proof that the job gets done. Growth Cab gave Computer both, then made sure founders and revenue leaders kept running into it long after launch day.
