01 /The goal

Take Takai’s field software to the people who run the sites

Takai is a software house with twenty years of projects for large companies, public bodies, small businesses and startups. It builds AI, cloud, web and mobile software to order and runs its own products: iKeep tracks company assets and TOM manages jobs and crews in the field.

TOM, short for Team Organization & Management, was born for construction and infrastructure. It plans daily and long-term work, assigns crews, operators and vehicles, records hours with geolocated clock-ins and sends the data from the field to the company’s management systems.

The goal was to open conversations with the people who run construction sites and field operations.

02 /The execution

From the construction site to a first conversation about TOM

Growth Cab ran the outbound for Takai on three pillars: the people who run the work in the field, the daily work TOM takes over and the first step TOM offers on its own site.

Step 01
  1. Technical directors and site managers

Growth Cab went after the people who plan and run the work in the field: technical directors, site managers, operations directors, COOs and CEOs at construction and infrastructure companies. Of the 31 meetings booked, 16 were with C-level executives and technical directors.

    3. Operations directors
    4. COOs and CEOs
Output9 of the 15 meetings held were with CEOs, COOs and technical directors.
Step 02
  1. One platform from the site to the office

The angle was the daily work TOM takes over: planning jobs, assigning crews and vehicles, tracking hours on site and moving the data from the field to the office systems. It is the work TOM was built for in construction, and Takai adds custom features and integrations on top.

OutputOne message: TOM runs the field work from planning to the office.
Step 03
  1. A first conversation with the Takai team

TOM’s own site invites every visitor to request a demo. The meetings Growth Cab booked were first conversations with the Takai team: 31 booked in just over six months, and 15 held.
